The color of night

Lights fade..
Night is near,
I can't wait to sleep
Anxious and restless in bed,
Waiting to be w/ you again.

Everything seems to stop
Silence fills the room
That's when i know you're near...
& I feel your arms around me,
Conforting & protective.

Time seems to stop
We're lost in the darkness of the night
Stars twinkling all arond us.

Your soft and warm hands caress my body,
& I smile
It soothes my soul.

Sometime during the night...
I fall asleep
& with the first warm ray of light in my face,
I awake, smiling
I know I'll have to wait till it's bedtime again...
So I can be w/ you again.
